CR & PLOTTING MEME

We've got a ton of new people and plenty of new relationships to form! Plot, plan, cackle deviously, or cry loudly into your hands about what's to come! The mods are working on getting some more fun plots going, but we can't neglect the fun friendships that can come before that! So comment here to get the ball rolling. We've even got a fun copypasta that you can use as a fill-in or an outline- whatever you want to do. <b>Character Name:</b> I'm not explaining this one. Seriously. <b>About Them:</b> Keep it brief! <b>What They've Been Up to:</b> Have they been working on something? Maybe they want to be? Just goofing around? Let us know! Anything can spawn inspiration. <b>Looking For:</b> Is there anything specific you want? Friends to go along with a surprise pool party at Ralph's house, evil plots, someone to sacrifice goats to your goddess with, a summer fling, WHAT? Try to be specific if you can- this helps people come up with ideas to do things with you! <b>Hell no:</b> Stuff you are absolutely against, like your character getting their mind-read or tortured or if your character is going to have a fear-induced panic attack and you don't want to deal with them being in that situation, triggers, whatever- Literally anything you're absolutely against having. <b>Other:</b> Idk is there anything else you want to include.

Arro Caine

Character Name: Arro Caine!

About Them: Arro Caine comes from a setting that primarily takes place on the planet Tureil. It's a binary star system so Genessia has a lot less sunlight than he's used to, their solar year is called a Turn and also slightly more than double an Earth year, so people got short lives™ here. That doesn't matter so much as the fact that he's been cursed into being essentially a demon that is forced to continuously evolve via learning and may possibly be functionally immortal. He can world-hop, will never, ever met canon character, but will occasionally reference settings and such that he really shouldn't know, especially things like Magic Systems and Technology. He's got an armful of degrees including good ol' Earth degrees in Biology, Infectious Disease, etc. He also enjoys being subtly condescending since its unlikely many have lived as long as he has nor accumulated the same knowledge. That said, he loves teaching others and learning about new things, and gosh does he love learning about other people's abilities. To the point he might even try provoking them into attacking them if it will let him learn something. He is also an obsessive reader comparable to Yomiko Readman, and thus is quite well-read, and is never seen without some kind of suiting upon his person. The most casual he'll be is with his sleeves rolled up and no tie, but always with a dress shirt, slacks, and nice shoes, at least.

What They've Been Up to: Right now he works for the GSRF, and at Genessia General Hospital as Doctor of Infectious Disease.

Looking For: Gosh, what isn't Arro looking for? He finally got a roommate and therefore doesn't need a ***** job any longer to maintain his lifestyle, so he might consider looking for another job. He's really just wanting to get out and socialize, learn about some people, and develop some CR so he can have a rapport with more than just poor Ted. There isn't much he is unwilling to do.

I suppose he'd be after training buddies, study buddies, students, and maybe dates. Even if you want to handwave actual logs, just mention it somewhere if you want as it's a good gate for dialogue.

I also would not entirely mind a situation where he has to transform to tap into his higher abilities...though that might change a lot of flavor in how people deal with him after as some might feel betrayed.

OH OH OH, speaking of that, if you want, Arro will consciously choose to not lie, but if someone wants him to manipulate them by talking around information or being confusing/oblique about it, please hit me up. He's not a bad guy, but is very much a slave to his curiosity.

Hell no: Honestly just death, and harming other people in an intentional and lasting way. "Torturing" him may take some work as while it is squicky sort of territory, pain and discomfort have become rare situations that while he may not be entirely willing for, he will resist a lot less than expected.

Other: I don't mind negative CR, but I need a little heads up that's what is desired, and while Arro will ICly not shy from a fight, I will recommend against it as it's more or less like going against an optional boss, unless you want some sort of fight that is interrupted in the middle, etc.

Uai would take a lot of interest in a study buddy as well. Would love to hear more about Arro's world. Likes honest people. Also a slave to curiosity. Maybe they could get along on some level?

Indeed, though Spatial Rend has two big issues with it, it would take about six months to use it again, and that's only if there's a lot mana to take in, and two; Arro has to know precisely where he's going otherwise it's a dice roll, except for when he wants to go home.

I think they'd get along great honestly =3 Gonna have to hit Uai up, or Arro is going to have to make a post. They can library buddies.

Uai can leave whenever, if Genessia let him. But due to have freakin' many alternate timelines and universes there are, he is also dice rolling if he doesn't plan ahead.

I hope to put up Uai's antagonist post soon, so there will be that! I'll leave a casual prompt for new CR.

Hana would definitely want to be his student, she wants to learn about eVERYTHING about this modern world!! Any life lessons for her would be grand, as well..just everything with him being a real-life human sempai for her haha

She'd be more than happy to share some things about the ancient history of her world as well.
